Girls see Santa

We had a great time at the Kanakry Christmas Party. Megan and Maddison both got to talk to Santa. He even stuck around to do some tricks for the kids.

Cookies

Grama introduced Megan to the joy of licking the beaters. She asked if it was like a lolly-pop, but then decided it was much better. She licked both clean. I couldn't say the same for her face afterwords.

Future Engineer?

Megan had some fun playing Engineer with Grampa today. She runs the train well and has fun loading and unload cattle on the fly.

Luminaries

We went to Grama and Grampa's house (Sue and Mel's) this past Sunday for their neighborhood Luminary night. Pretty much every house participates. It was the coolest night we've had this winter. I think it dropped to the low 60's. Matt and Donald were still fine in their shorts.

Pre-Halloween Party

Our Neighborhood has a Halloween Party each year. This year was the biggest showing yet. Lots of adorable costumes filled with children on sugar highs. They had a clown (of sorts) a hay ride and even a pony (kindy of stinky). Alanna joined us with Timmy(the Bee) and Ruby.

Pumpkin Patch '07

We had a pumkin filled afternoon yesterday at the Trinity Methodist Church on Military Trail. Megan spent a hot Florida Oct afternoon running up and down the isles of pumkins. We finally narrowed down our choice to the perfect one to bring home for Maddison to make a Jack-O-Lantern. Megan also picked out a few minis to decorate herself.
